After baking for these 2 to 3 years, I’ve definitely bake the most Chinese New Year cookies this year and it’s really satisfying to serve home baked goodies.
I’m most happy with Almond/Orange Shortbread which I finally got the texture right and also the melt in the mouth. Probably next year I should really try making other cookies, for the experience of course!
And for my own recording, CNY goodies I have attempt so far :
1. Almond/Orange Shortbread
2. Walnut Cornflake Crunchies
3. Coconut Macaroons
4. Espresso/Chocolate Kiss
5. Icing Cookies

Christmastime cupcake – This cupcake has the most amazing flavour. Its is like hot spiced mocha in a cupcake paper. Sweetened with just thin layer of Quick Royal Icing, this cake is a real treat at Christmastime.

I felt like baking something unusual and decided using a different kind of fruits.

Why not make a luscious dark-red plum cake, made even more interesting with the addition of coconut.
